Plagiarism

A while ago, my friend who lives in Germany walk into this poster for some opera show and took picture of it. If you didn't see this before, my original artwork is on the right.

My first reaction was anger of course, some people just don't bother being creative or painting something when there is plenty stuff on the net. I don't know is this is happening to other artist and how much. I am still unknown artist from a small country, and maybe it's just easy to steel from someone like me. One thing is sure; if you put your artwork on the net, there is always a chance that someone will rip you off.

I had one more interesting situation, there was this guy, and he was bragging to me about making one specific peace of art and not knowing that it was actually mine! LoL

Just another cyberpunk art

So, it was a long time since I post anything, reason for that may be getting a second child and twisting a world once again, dealing with time/money/nerves/patience/will/mood/inspiration, and rest (most of the time)! And maybe it's because I have been occupied with 3d for some time now, and totally lose a habit to draw. The problem is sometimes it's hard to switch from one medium to another  just like that. I am not saying that I forgot how to draw, but when I pick up a pencil and start scribing, it sure looked like that for someone who's watching! So to "remind myself how to draw" I started with a simple themes. These are a successful ones...

Some old buildings...

Old buildings. Don't know really how or why, but they always give me inspiration ...

Well, its been long period of rain, I mean really long! So long that it had affected my will for doing anything creative. Still, couple of times I managed to pick up a pen and scribble.

And just as I started actually doing something I left my drawing and pens on the table forgetting that I have a three year old daughter curious about what I'm doing on that paper. That's her on the corner by the way. And yes, she is trying to mimic everything I do. So she pick a fat marker and added a little bit of herself. I could just scan it, erase those lines and finish it digitally, but I didn't, I left it that way. Do you resemble a face on her drawing there or is it just me being too proud of my daughter...?
